eMule was once the largest and most popular Peer-to-Peer program on the market, and although its popularity has declined somewhat over the years, eMule is still a very intuitive and widely recognised P2P program. A Peer-to-Peer program denotes a program that connects to a network of users who share the files on their computer with other users. These files are shared in a Torrent format, which is used for all files (regardless of its content) until the file is fully downloaded, at which point it returns to its original type.
eMule may not be the best program of its type out there, but there are still many plus points to it. When it comes to sharing and downloading smaller filetypes, such as pictures or video clips, eMule is easily the best out there. The ease of use, the intuitive search function and the organisation features make finding, downloading and sorting through a large number of small files as easy and painless as you could want it to be.
